Motley Crew is a group of senior golfers that play weekly at Schifferdecker Golf Course in Joplin, Missouri. You are welcome to attend if you are over 55. Cost is $7.00 per round, not including green fees and cart.

Very windy day leading to high scores among the 30 players who played a 3 man scramble. Again, note, we had 30 players, so we were close to first come vs. those that missed out. Arrive and pay early.
We will end the points totals after the last Motley Crew date on Monday, March 30th. We will start with new points running from April 1st (go figure) to August 31st. The Summer Run. The Pacifier Points leader, and Slow Play Champion will be awarded April Fools Day.
PP Points leader: Mike Abraham: 6,347,632 pts, and a close 2nd, David Bay 1,465,777 , Note: David picked up a cool 1,000,000 pts as he was seen gloating over a big pile of money. There were only two skins, and they paid $19 per the two teams who won them.
We are limited to 8 tee times for the Motley Crew. That means 32 players can play. The FIRST 32 players to show up and paid, will be playing. After 32, any remaining players will not play.
A couple of notes on the Senior Series Tournaments (Old Senior Shamble). First, the format of play will vary from round to round. The first Senior Series, will actually be a shamble, but future events will include scrambles, and any other format the JGC comes up with. Also, the Senior Series has gone up in price to $45 per player, and $35 per player with JGC card. The first Senior Series is scheduled for March 18th. The sign up sheet is in the pro shop.
Joplin Golf Club cards will go on sale Monday, March 2nd in the pro shop. The price is $25. This gets you a $10 discount on all Senior Shamble events.
